I am a qualified counsellor registered with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) together with the Hampshire Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (HACP). My private practice is located on the outskirts of Winchester, with easy access from the city centre and the M3, and I also offer sessions in central Winchester.
I provide a non-judgemental, supportive and confidential environment to help you explore whatever aspects of your life you may wish to better understand or change.
I have experience working with a range of individuals in both private practice and public institutions, including working with young people from 11 years of age. In addition to working as a counsellor, I am also a cancer nurse specialist working at The Royal Hampshire County Hospital.
My approach is predominately based on Transactional Analysis which is a theory of personality and systematic psychotherapy for personal growth and personal change.
Areas of counselling I deal with:
Loss and bereavement, cancer, terminal illness, anxiety, panic attacks, low self- confidence, low self -esteem, stress, bullying, abuse and general relationship problems.
